Manchester United will be facing Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Tuesday and the squad traveled to Paris on Monday afternoon. The Manchester Evening News have reported that three players were missing at the airport. Edinson Cavani, Harry Maguire and Mason Greenwood have not traveled with the squad and will not feature against the Parisians.
Cavani completed his first training session at United on Sunday after he self-isolated for two weeks following his arrival from France. It now seems that the game against his former club may have come too soon for the veteran striker. New signings Alex Telles and Facundo Pellistri were with the squad to face PSG.
Maguire played for United against Newcastle United on Saturday and scored a goal. At this point it is unclear why the captain has not joined his teammates. His position on the team has been taken by Axel Tuanzebe, who hasn’t played for the first team since December. Greenwood was not involved at all against Newcastle and he has also been left out of the squad.
