The VAR has been one of the major talking points in football since it was introduced collecting more negative comments than positive ones. On Monday the VAR was the main talking point once again after a kick by Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Raul Jimenez at Leeds United defender Robin Koch was missed by the referee and his assistants.
While it is unclear if Jimenez kicks the Leeds defender on purpose, he does make a kicking move while looking at the German international. Looking at the replay might suggest that the Mexican striker should have been awarded a red card for the action. The red card would have not influenced Jimenez scoring the only goal of the game after 70 minutes.
