Tottenham Hotspur have not forgotten about Arek Milik. The London club was interested in signing the Polish forward from Napoli during the summer transfer window but never made an official approach. Milik stayed in Italy but according to Area Napoli, Tottenham will be back with an offer for Milik during the January transfer window worth around €7m.
Milik has an expiring contract in Napoli and has rejected to sign an extension. That has made Napoli decide to axe Milik from the first squad. The striker has been removed from the club’s Serie A squad, Europa League squad and he has been banned from first-team training. Napoli would be open to talk about a transfer in January.
And while Tottenham have signed Carlos Vinicius on a season-long loan from Benfica, Jose Mourinho would still be very keen on signing the Polish forward during the January window. During the summer Milik had been linked with moves to Atletico Madrid, AS Roma and Juventus but none of these clubs made an approach.
