Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta could be given a massive transfer budget for next season as the Gunners are ready to offload four players next summer. The Spaniard had the chance to sign several players this summer as he spent over €90m on new signings. Arteta will, however, receive a massive €100m transfer budget once more as Arsenal are looking to generate these funds with transfer fees and mammoth wages.
Mesut Ozil, Alexandre Lacazette, Sead Kolasinac and Sokratis Papastathopoulos don’t have a future at Arsenal and are likely to leave next summer. Ozil will be out of contract and Arsenal will be saving €20m-per-year in wages. Kolasinac has been linked with a move to Bayer Leverkusen and could earn the Gunners up to €15m, while Sokratis could also return to Germany in a transfer worth around €10m.
The biggest fish on the list is Lacazette. When Arsenal signed the French striker from Olympique Lyon much was expected. Four years later Lacazette has never managed to establish himself as one of the club’s leading players and the Gunners are now open to the idea of selling him. With the transfer the club hopes to land around €50m.
