Manchester United have made a decision on the possibility to make a move for Cristiano Ronaldo next summer. The Portuguese super star’s future at Juventus has become uncertain and over the past few weeks there have been several rumours that the Italians want to offload the highest-paid player in the Serie A. United and Paris Saint-Germain have been put forward as possible destinations.
According to the Manchester Evening News, sources around the club have confirmed that the Red Devils will not be making a move if Ronaldo becomes available next summer. Reports claimed that Ronaldo was tempted to return to Old Trafford and that United was open to the idea of resigning the forward next summer. That suggestion has been laughed off by United, claims MEN.
Instead United are looking to bring young players as they are ready to build a new team that will be able to challenge for the title in the Premier League and the Champions League. In January the club will already welcome 18-year-old winger Ahmad Diallo Traoro from Atlanta Bergamo and they plan to make a new attempt to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.
