Real Madrid have joined the long list of admirers of Dominik Szoboszlai and the interest of the Spaniards could possibly frustrate Arsenal. A report by AS states that the Gunners have been courting the Hungarian wonderkid for months and were expecting him to complete a transfer next summer. However, interest from Madrid could possibly change the Red Bull Salzburg midfielder’s mind.
The attacking midfielder enjoyed his breakout season at Salzburg last year and his reputation has sky-rockteted in the past few months. Several clubs like AC Milan, Juventus, Internazionale and Borussia Dortmund have all been linked with Szoboszlai, but it was then thought that Arsenal would be the big favourites to land the midfielder.
However, Real have been made aware that the youngster is available for a cut-price around €20m and that has caught their interest. Szoboszlai has been watched by Zinedine Zidane on several occasions and it is believed that the French head coach has given his club the green light to prepare an offer for Szoboszlai in either January or next summer.
