Sami Khedira is nearing an exit at Juventus as the German midfielder has been told he has no future at the club. The 33-year-old has an expiring contract and it has been rumoured that Juventus have been trying to terminate his contract. While Khedira is not willing to talk about his current contract situation in Turin, he has admitted that a move to the Premier League would be ‘a dream come true’.
“When I was a child it was always a big dream of mine to be a Premier League player,” Khedira told Sky Germany. “I am really happy and satisfied with my career until now but one thing is still missing because I always had this dream and it has never come true… to be a part of the Premier League. I have watched so many Premier League games since I was young and even now I am following the Premier League a lot.”
“I always enjoyed playing in the Champions League against the English clubs. The atmosphere, the style and idea of football has always impressed me. If it is possible it will for sure be a really big dream [come true] and honour to be a part of the Premier League.” Khedria has been at Juventus for five seasons and in the last two seasons injuries and a drop of form have dropped him down the pecking order. Over the past two seasons has has only made 35 appearances.
