The world football association FIFA have revealed the six pots of teams on Friday ahead of the draw for the World Cup qualification group stage in Europe. The draw will be on December 7th in Zurich and the FIFA announced the pots, based on its new list of World Rankings. Belgium is the current number one, while reigning world champions France sit in second place.
The FIFA have announced a total of six pots, with every pot having 10 teams, except pot 6 which has 5 teams. There will be ten different groups of which five will be formed with five teams and five groups will have six teams. In Pot 1 big teams can be found, including England, Italy, Germany and the Netherlands. Pot two also has some strong teams with Switzerland, Austria and Wales.

Pot One: Belgium, France, England, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands
Pot Two: Switzerland, Wales, Poland, Sweden, Austria, Ukraine, Serbia, Turkey, Slovakia, Romania
Pot Three: Russia, Hungary, Republic of Ireland, Czech Republic, Norway, Northern Ireland, Iceland, Scotland, Greece, Finland
Pot Four: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Albania, Bulgaria, Israel, Belarus, Georgia, Luxembourg
Pot Five: Armenia, Cyprus, Faroe Islands, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Kosovo, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Latvia, Andorra
