Juventus are monitoring the situation of Donny van de Beek, reports from Italy have claimed. The Dutch midfielder joined Manchester United this summer from Ajax but hasn’t been given regular playing time at Old Trafford. Juventus will be looking closely at the development of Van de Beek and could be stepping in if his status at United doesn’t change.
Calcio Mercato claim that Juventus are ready to offer a way out for Van de Beek as they are hoping to reunite him with his former Ajax teammate Matthijs de Ligt. There have already been talks that the Dutch midfielder is unhappy with his role at United after he was promised an important first team role by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer during the summer.
Juventus are willing to offer Van de Beek the chance to play regular first team football again and could be tempted to make an offer if his situation doesn’t improve. United paid around €45m for Van de Beek during the summer and Juventus are prepared to offer a similar transfer fee to the English giants if the midfielder does want to leave.
