Reports from Italy have claimed that the players of Juventus are growing concerned about their relationship with head coach Andrea Pirlo. The former Italian midfielder doesn’t speak or discuss the team’s tactics with his players ahead of their games in both the Serie A and Champions League. Pirlo has delegated this to his assistants Igor Tudor and Roberto Baronio.
A report by Corriero Dello Sport describes Pirlo as ‘very silent’ in the dressing room and it has been claimed that the team is confused about the tactics in the build-up to a match. Players like Paulo Dybala and new signing Dejan Kulusevski are having troubles understanding what Pirlo wants to see from them during the match on a tactical level.
The midfield has also been highlighted by the report as they are having difficulties finding their shape during a match. The team is often too stretched, leaving huge gapes between the defense and midfield or attack in midfield. Juventus have not enjoyed the best start to the season and the reigning champions are currently in fifth place on the table, six points behind league leaders AC Milan.
