Manchester United are following the development of Leicester City ace Harvey Barnes, several reports from England have revealed. The 22-year-old is having an impressive season for Leicester and has recently made his debut for the national team. The scouting department of the Red Devils has been following Barnes this season and they have given a positive report to the management.
The Sun claims that Solskjaer is an admirer of Barnes and has instructed the scouting team to keep a close watch on the Leicester ace. United could be tempted to make an offer for Barnes as Borussia Dortmund are still rejecting to lower their asking price for Jadon Sancho. The Germans are adamant to receive €125m for the England international.
The report by the Sun claims that Leicester are looking for a €65m transfer fee for Barnes, but that they would refuse any approaches for on of their star players during the January window. During his career Barnes has played on loan for MK Dons, Barnsley and West Bromwich Albion. He has now made 65 league appearances for Leicester and he has scored ten goals.
