Kylian Mbappe and Paris Saint-Germain have reached the advanced stages of their negotiations for a new contract. Reports from France have revealed that the talks between the two parties have been progressing well and that an agreement is coming closer each day. Mbappe will extend his contract beyond his current expiration date in 2022 with multiple seasons.
PSG have been working hard to convince their star player to sign a new contract as they want to avoid the situation where there would be forced to sell him next summer. Several clubs have been monitoring the situation of Mbappe in Paris and are reportedly ready to step in once he becomes available on the transfer market. Both Liverpool and Real Madrid have been linked with a move for Mbappe.
Neymar is also believed to be closing in on an agreement for a new contract. The Brazilian has been linked with move away from PSG for the past three seasons, but has never seen a move materialize. With the ongoing coronavirus pandemic Neymar is aware that there is very little chance that he will be able to sign for FC Barcelona or any other club.
